Graham Benfield OBE, a man who profoundly impacted the voluntary sector in Wales, passed away peacefully at home on March 22nd, 2025.

The Big Barry Clean - that the Barry Partnership are supporting in collaboration with Barry Town Council and Keep Wales Tidy. We are organising this for the month of July and would like to encourage as many individual volunteers and groups as possible to undertake a litter picking activity in Barry during this period.

Join the incredible volunteers at Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru with our first Big Lunch, taking place at 21 High Street on 6 June! It will kick off at 2pm.

The Fayre will be held at the CF61 Community Centre, Station Road, Llantwit Major CF61 1ST on Friday, June 6th, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm.

Residents of Cowbridge and surrounding villages are invited to a Mini Volunteering Fayre hosted by Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) during Volunteers' Week 2025 (June 2nd - 8th).  

 A Mini Volunteering Fayre will be held at Barry Library, King Square, Barry CF63 4RW on Wednesday, June 4th, from 10 am to 1 pm.   

As part of Volunteers' Week 2025 (June 2nd - 8th), GVS will be at Penarth Library, 9-10 Stanwell Rd, Penarth CF64 2AD on Tuesday, June 3rd, from 10 am to 12 pm.   

Every year, the UK comes together during Volunteers' Week, running from the first Monday in June, to celebrate and thank the incredible contributions of volunteers.

Autism Spectrum Connections Cymru’s second Dungeons and Dragons group is now up and running. It offers the opportunity to connect with others, build confidence and boost your wellbeing through the structure of this popular role-playing game.

On 4th April 2025 Barry Ladies Choir joined forces with Vale Associated Training Brass Band to raise £700 for Dinas Powys Voluntary Concern in a spring concert for a capacity crowd at St Peters Church in Dinas Powys.
