Farm visitors reminded about hand washing as Cowbridge farm outbreak reaches 81 cases
Public Health Wales is reminding visitors to open farms to follow good hygiene practices when visiting farms. Seven new cases of cryptosporidium have been identified in association with visits to a Cowbridge farm in March and April 2025.

Dementia Action Week 19th to 25th May - "Virtual Dementia Friends Sessions"
During Dementia Action Week, the Alzheimer’s Society Dementia Friends Team are aiming to make 7000 Dementia Friends – that’s 1000 a day! The Team will be running virtual information sessions every weekday Monday 19 May to Friday 23 May at 10am, 1pm and 5pm. These sessions will be delivered on Zoom and everybody is welcome.
