More than fifty people attended GVS’ AGM and Strategy Workshop at CF61 Community Centre in Llantwit Major, including GVS Members, Trustees, partner organisations and local dignitaries.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is inviting schools and youth organisations across the Vale of Glamorgan to get involved in a new community conversation: “What Makes Our Community Special?”.

GVS is pleased to announce that its AGM and accompanying Strategic Planning Workshop will take place on Friday 16th October 2026 at CF61 in Llantwit Major, CF61 1ST.‍‍

Your insights will help us, GVS, develop a clearer picture of the pressures across the sector and identify where there may be opportunities for partnership working, support, or reducing gaps in service.

We are inviting all GVS members to share their views and help shape our future direction. Your voice genuinely matters to us. The closing date for responses is 16 November 2026.

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is delighted to share that Rachel Connor, our long‑standing former CEO who dedicated over 30 years to the Voluntary Sector, received a prestigious invitation to attend the Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace on 8 May 2026. 

GVS seeks new trustees to help strengthen communities across the Vale of Glamorgan. Elections will take place at our AGM on 16 October 2026, with nomination due by midday on 18 September 2026.
