Stakeholders unite for a highly successful GVS AGM and Strategy Workshop
More than fifty people attended GVS’ AGM and Strategy Workshop at CF61 Community Centre in Llantwit Major, including GVS Members, Trustees, partner organisations and local dignitaries. The diverse and committed turnout was genuinely humbling and GVS extends its sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to join us.
We were also delighted to welcome Tom Bowring, Director of Corporate Resources at the Vale of Glamorgan Council, who delivered an informative and well‑received presentation.
A special moment in the morning saw Lynda Wallis, GVS Chair, presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as she steps down from her role as a Trustee. This gesture recognised her outstanding commitment as Chair, Vice Chair and Trustee.
The event was a resounding success, moving seamlessly from the formal AGM business to an engaging strategic workshop.
GVS stakeholders can still help shape our Strategic Plan. We support and champion charities, community groups and voluntary organisations across the Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding areas. Tell us where our work has made the greatest difference and how we can best help you prepare for future challenges.
