Understanding Winter Pressures for Children and Family Services

As the winter period approaches we, GVS, are keen to better understand the challenges faced by third sector organisations supporting children, young people, and families.

Winter can bring increased demand for services alongside additional pressures relating to cost of living, staff capacity, mental health needs, social isolation, and access to support. We would like to hear about the issues you anticipate this winter and any concerns about the ability to meet this demand.

Your insights will help us develop a clearer picture of the pressures across the sector and identify where there may be opportunities for partnership working, support, or reducing gaps in service.
