GVS welcomes newly approved member organisations

GVS is delighted to announce that a vibrant group of organisations has just been approved for GVS Membership, strengthening our growing network of community‑focused groups across the Vale and beyond.

We are pleased to welcome:

  • A Good Thing CIC – an online platform helping UK businesses donate unwanted items to local charities, reducing waste and supporting good causes.

  • Arewa Wales Network – a welcoming community celebrating the cultures, languages and traditions of people from the 19 states of Northern Nigeria now living in Wales.

  • Cowbridge & District Athletic Club – a thriving multi‑sport club offering rugby, cricket, squash, tennis and community activities for all ages.

  • National Energy Action – the fuel poverty charity working across Wales, England and Northern Ireland to ensure everyone can live in a warm, safe and healthy home.

  • One Family No Division CIC – an organisation promoting wellbeing, social inclusion and personal development through counselling, fitness, youth activities and community events.

  • Ray of Light Cancer Support – offering free support groups, family activities and befriending services across RCT, Cardiff, the Vale and Bridgend.
