Fresh from its feel-good opening in January, the new Community Cinema for the rural Vale is set to celebrate humankind with two star-studded films in February and March.

We are seeking views from the local Voluntary Sector on the future of the Voluntary Sector Joint Liaison Committee (VSJLC). The closing date for this consultation is 24th February 2026.

Are you living in Wales and taking Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) for menopausal symptoms? We’re running a voluntary survey to learn more about the care you receive from NHS Wales — especially around treatment reviews and how they could be improved.

The GVS Big Volunteering Fayre, held on Wednesday 28th January at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry, was a resounding success, attracting a total of 250 attendees.

The latest monthly fall in the waiting list, a 23,400 drop from October to November, is the biggest monthly reduction on record. It is also the sixth consecutive month the waiting list has been cut.

People across Wales can now see where they are on NHS waiting lists using the NHS Wales App.

The latest update lets people who have been added to a waiting list since December check their waiting list status, view their referral into hospital care, and access information to help manage their health while waiting for treatment.
