Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) Appoints New Chief Executive Officer

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is pleased to announce the appointment of Christine Boston as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1st February 2026. 

Christine brings extensive leadership experience and a strong commitment to empowering communities and strengthening the Third Sector. Her appointment marks an exciting new chapter for GVS.  

Christine will work alongside current CEO Rachel Connor during a planned handover period. Rachel, who has led GVS for over two decades and leaves a legacy of growth and service within the Third Sector, will retire at the end of March 2026. This transition ensures continuity of leadership and a smooth transfer of strategic responsibilities.
