More than 200,000 calls to urgent mental health service
The national 111 press 2 service, which has transformed access to support for urgent mental health issues, has received more than 200,000 calls since its launch.
The service was rolled out nationwide in December 2022 and provides immediate support for people experiencing mental health difficulties.

On World Sight Day, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is proud to announce the launch of an Eye Retrieval Service, the first of its kind in Wales.

The Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS)
The Landfill Disposals Tax Communities Scheme (LDTCS) funds projects near certain waste transfer stations or landfill sites.
The scheme is now open for applications for grants of between £5,000 – £49,000.
Charles Hayward Foundation Small Grant Scheme for older people’s projects
They fund predominantly small, local projects which improve the physical and emotional health of older people with grants of up to £7,000.

AIM Contactless Donations Grants for museums in Wales
The grant scheme will enable eligible museums in Wales, to apply for capital funding to purchase a contactless donation point/s for use at their museum. The grant will also cover upgrades to electrical and Wi-Fi infrastructure, and one year of subscription fees/licences, to enable the collection and processing of the contactless payments. The maximum grant available is £4,000.00 pounds.
