Real living wage critical for health
Employers paying staff a real living wage or above can protect and support good health and wellbeing for both the individual and society as a whole, experts at Public Health Wales have said.
Call for more funding for NHS pay
Joint letter to UK government. The UK government has been urged to increase the amount of funding available for NHS pay. Ahead of the Autumn statement, Scottish Health Secretary Humza Yousaf and Welsh Health Minister Eluned Morgan have written to UK Health Secretary Steve Barclay to ask for additional funding to help avert strike action this winter in the NHS.
Join Barry Community Choir’s first Christmas Concert since 2019
The concert is on Sunday, 11th December at 3pm in St John’s Church, tickets are £10 and include festive refreshments (no charge for children under 18).
