Join Barry Community Choir’s first Christmas Concert since 2019

It’s with great happiness that Barry Community Choir is holding its first Christmas Concert since 2019.  Along with other organisations, a few things have changed in the meantime.

We now rehearse in St John’s Methodist Church, Breaksea Drive, Barry Island, we have a new conductor, Alison Shone and a “returning” accompanist, Rob Lloyd.  All together we’ve had many changes, but we are still singing!  “All Together Now” is the title of our concert which will feature the children’s choir of Barry Island School, together with Barry Island Ukelele Strummers.

The concert is on Sunday, 11th December at 3pm in St John’s Church, tickets are £10 and include festive refreshments (no charge for children under 18).  There will also be a grand raffle for £1 a ticket.  The audience will also have the opportunity to air their voices with some well-known and well-loved carols.

We are also holding a prize draw for a portrait in pastels of a child/children or pet, drawn by the very talented local artist Marion Smith, who is also a member of the choir.  Tickets for the prize draw are £5.

Tickets for both the concert and prize draw can be obtained through choir members or through our website/Facebook – barrycommunitychoir.com/info@barrycommunitychoir.com, or by phone:  07932 523415.
