Cardiff and Vale UHB commits to working collaboratively to prevent suicide and self-harm with new strategy
The new Suicide and Self Harm Prevention Strategy for Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan commits organisations to work together to support all those affected or at risk, by offering ‘the right support, at the right time, in the right way for everyone’.
VOLUNTEERING VACANCY - Food Pod Volunteers
The St Luke’s and St Pauls, Clean Slate Connected, Cleaner Greener & Healthier Neighbourhood Programme is looking to recruit volunteers to kick start their Food Pod at the St Luke’s and St Pauls estate in Penarth. Food Pod offers low cost food (tinned, perishable/non-perishable) to local residents operating on a pay as you can afford basis.

Benthyg’s Library of things is based at the Awesome Wales Shop on Holton Road in Barry. The public can donate items they no longer use that can be borrowed by others for a small fee.
Llantwit Major Christmas Fair at CF61 again this year
Run by Llantwit Major Events Group, the fair promises to be bigger and longer than last year. The event will take place on Saturday 27th November from 10am to 6pm, it’s free admission and will include more stalls and fairground rides for smaller children, as well as a stage with entertainment promised all day
