Community workers and volunteers may be the first adults to whom children and young people confide thoughts of suicide and self harm. Making sure they are supported to respond appropriately and effectively is vital to the wellbeing of children and young people who experience these thoughts, and to those around them.

The Citizens Advice 2021 Scams Awareness Campaign will take place from 14 - 27 June. This annual campaign is all about creating a network of confident, #ScamAware Cardiff and Vale consumers who are able to recognise a scam, report it to the appropriate agency and talk about their experiences to help raise public awareness of scams.

Public Health Wales’ Primary Care Hub, has commissioned a survey that calls for all frontline healthcare professionals to take part and share opinions on having effective weight management conversations with patients.

Cardiff & Vale Health Charity has allocated funding to support third sector community projects to enhance the Health and Wellbeing of people in the region through creative solutions. The maximum that can be applied for is £5,000. This is both a REVENUE and CAPITAL grant. The Grant will be open for applications from Tuesday 1st June 2021 with a deadline for submission of 12 noon on Friday 9th July 2021

Bayside Mass Vaccination Centre will be operating as a walk in Centre over the bank holiday weekend. From Thursday 27th May – Monday 31st May, people are encouraged to attend Bayside MVC, based in the old Toys R Us building between 8.30am - 7.30pm to receive their first dose of the COVID vaccination.
