The Older People’s Commissioner for Wales has launched a new guide for older people, which provides crucial information about your rights when moving into and living in a care home.

The development of a new app, which allows users to share their health profile and potentially draw attention to rare or complex medical conditions with health services, both in the UK and abroad – like a passport – has been highlighted on Rare Disease Day by Health and Social Services Minister Eluned Morgan.

The Cardiff and Vale Regional Partnership Board in partnership with Cardiff Third Sector Council (C3SC) and Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) have allocated £283,800 in total, to support unpaid carers with short breaks from their caring role. The Fund is administered by C3SC in partnership with GVS. The programme is open for applications from 20th February 2023 with a deadline for submission of 10th March 2023.
