£2.25m funding announced for voluntary sector
The First Minister, Rt Hon Mark Drakeford MS, has announced that WCVA will distribute an additional £2.25m of funding to the voluntary sector in Wales through the Third Sector Resilience Fund.

Third Sector Grants Programme - Cardiff & Vale Health Charity Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB)
Cardiff & Vale Health Charity has allocated funding to support third sector community projects to enhance the Health and Wellbeing of people in the region through creative solutions. The maximum that can be applied for is £5,000. This is both a REVENUE and CAPITAL grant. The Grant will be open for applications from Tuesday 1st June 2021 with a deadline for submission of 12 noon on Friday 9th July 2021
Vale of Glamorgan Council offering the Strong Communities Grant Fund
The Strong Communities Grant Fund offers grants to community groups, voluntary organisations and Town and Community Councils towards the cost of initiatives within the Vale of Glamorgan that help to support the Council’s vision of “Strong Communities with a bright future”.

Supporting Older People in the ValeThird Sector Preventative Interventions Fund 2021 - Covid-19
This revenue-only Fund aims to support proposals which respond to the Covid-19 crisis and improve health, wellbeing and independence. The overall aim is for older people to remain living in, and engaging with, their communities for as long as they wish. The Fund is open for applications from Tuesday 4th May 2021, with a deadline for submission of 12 noon on Friday, 11th June 2021.
Third Sector ICF Capital Investment Fund 2021 Briefing Session
Wednesday 5 May 2021, 2pm – 3pm The Capital Investment Fund is now open. You will be able to find out more about this funding scheme, the type of things that can be considered for funding and the application process. The deadline for submission of 12pm on Friday, 28th May 2021.

The Government is seeking an application from the Vale of Glamorgan into its Community Renewal Fund.

GVS, with thanks to funding from Welsh Government, is administering a small grants scheme to help non profit groups and organisations in the Vale of Glamorgan who are actively working in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.
