Attend GVS’ Supporting Older People in the Vale - Funding Scheme briefing session

Thursday 6 May 2021 from 2pm – 3.30pm

The Cardiff and Vale Integrated Health and Social Care Partnership has allocated funding to support third sector community activities and services for older people in the Vale of Glamorgan, in response to Covid-19. This fund opens on the 4th May 2021.

The Fund is provided via the Welsh Government Integrated Care Fund and administered by Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) in liaison with the Vale of Glamorgan Council. The Fund will open on 4th May with a deadline for submission of 12 noon on Friday, 11th June 2021.

GVS is inviting all prospective applicants from the Vale of Glamorgan to a briefing session. You will be able to find out more about this funding scheme, the type of things that can be considered for funding and the application process. We will also be providing you with details of who to contact should you wish to discuss your project in more detail.

In summary this revenue-only Fund aims to support proposals which respond to the Covid-19 crisis and improve health, wellbeing and independence. The overall aim is for older people to remain living in, and engaging with, their communities for as long as they wish.
