Progress on digital innovations which are helping to cut waiting times and save NHS Wales money have been welcomed by the Health Minister Eluned Morgan.

Wednesday 22 November 2023, 11am - 12pm (Online). As part of their work to support children and young people in rural areas BBC Children in Need is delighted to present the Big Sky Programme. The programme will award grants of up to £5,000.

The NFU Mutual Charitable Trust was set up in 1998, to promote and support charities in the United Kingdom working in agriculture, rural development and insurance.

Funding is open to UK-registered charities for projects, both internationally and in the UK, which align to at least one of 4 funding priorities.

Up to £10000 to support projects that are designed to improve the experience of being blind or partially sighted, or at risk of sight loss, in the UK.

A recent study conducted by Public Health Wales shows that young people, parents of children under 18, those receiving Universal Credit and people who identify as transgender are more likely to be exposed to vaccine misinformation online. The report also found that 89 per cent of service users reported seeing vaccine-related misinformation in the past year. 

We all know smoking can have a devastating impact on our lungs. Tobacco cigarettes not only inflame and irritate the organs, they also destroy lung tissue and the delicate, broom-like hairs called cilia which keep them clean.
