This is the first time that a digital baseline assessment has been undertaking in Wales. We are appealing to those that work in the Third Sector in Wales.

As you may be aware the Vale Public Services Board (PSB) has launched its consultation on the draft Well-being Assessment. The Assessment is a statutory requirement of the PSB and considers the environmental, economic, social and cultural well-being of the Vale of Glamorgan. Deadline for feedback on the assessment is 13th February 2022.

The Flat Holm society is currently seeking volunteers to help with the day – to – day running of the charity.  Flat Holm is a Welsh island lying in the Bristol Channel approximately 6 km (4 mi) from Lavernock Point in the Vale of Glamorgan and it includes the most southerly point of Wales.

Every year Barry Beavers hosts an Astra 15 Regional Gala in March. This year, we will host the first Astra 15 Regional Gala since 2019 (due to closure from Covid-19 restrictions) so we are really excited to get things up and running again.

Local community groups and charities operating in the Vale of Glamorgan are encouraged to sign-up to Glamorgan Voluntary Services’ (GVS) membership to gain unrivalled and expert support. GVS supports over 700 organisations and membership is free for 90% of organisations.

Cyber resilience is an organisation-wide approach which combines cyber security with organisation resilience, enabling an organisation to better prepare for, respond to and recover from cyber-attacks and breaches.

2021 was another steady year for the Civil Aid Voluntary Rescue Association (CAVRA) Team. The year has been difficult due to the effects of COVID-19.
