CAVRA Report for 2021

2021 was another steady year for the Civil Aid Voluntary Rescue Association (CAVRA) Team.

The year has been difficult due to the effects of COVID-19, with many events being cancelled or postponed, which, has had a major effect on finances.

However, on the positive side of things, we have offered our services to a number of organisations, consequently, we have signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOU’s) with some ”go ahead” organisations, and are working towards them with others.

During the year we performed a total of 9761 Hours of Voluntary service, estimated to be worth £126893 to local Communities

Attended a total of 8 incidents, Rescuing 1 person, assisting a further 17.

During the year we changed our legal status from that of a Registered Charity (1088563) to that of a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) (1194929).
