  • residents in a care home for older adults

  • all adults aged 75 years and over

  • individuals aged 6 months and over who are immunosuppressed, as defined in tables 3 and 4 of the COVID-19 chapter of the Green Book

On World Sight Day, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is proud to announce the launch of an Eye Retrieval Service, the first of its kind in Wales.

The initiative has been launched in partnership with NHS Blood and Transplant Services and will ensure that corneal donations continue to transform the lives of patients in-need, giving people back the gift of sight.
