Shaping the Future Together: Join us for the GVS AGM & Strategic Planning Workshop 2026
GVS is pleased to announce that its AGM and accompanying Strategic Planning Workshop will take place on Friday 16th October 2026 at CF61 in Llantwit Major, CF61 1ST.
Do you need funding for a youth volunteering project or activity?
Applications can be submitted at any time and will be continually considered and assessed throughout the year. All funding must be spent by 12th February 2027.
Volunteering Wales Main Grants
Funding to help increase volunteer engagement, support the creation and development of high-quality, positive volunteering opportunities across Wales and help embed volunteering in organisations
Amount: Up to £30,000
Deadline: 5pm 30th November 2026
DWF Foundation - Grants
Supporting charitable initiatives that make a positive impact in communities where DWF people live and work. The Foundation helps organisations to tackle social challenges and improve life opportunities.
Amount: Up to £5,000

Moondance Foundation - General Funding
The Moondance Foundation offers grants to organisations and causes that provide transformational changes in communities in Wales and beyond.

Foodbank Fundamentals Fund
Providing food banks with essential provisions and equipment necessary to sustain and enhance their services for disadvantaged members of the local community.

Community Cinema for rural Vale to show films year-round thanks to funding
The Vale’s pop-up Community Cinema is set to show a brilliant range of films across 2026, 2027 and 2028 thanks to a National Lottery Community Fund award.

Age Connects Wales is marking this year’s International Day of Older Persons
The event will take place on Wednesday 30 September, from 6pm to 8pm, in the Senedd, and will be sponsored by Lynne Neagle MS, a long‑standing supporter of Age Connects and its work in Torfaen.
