GVS is inviting member organisations to a free special engagement event designed to strengthen your organisation, amplify your voice, and enhance the collective impact of the Third Sector across the Vale of Glamorgan.

When someone is struggling with alcohol or other drug use, the impact rarely stops with them. Family members and friends are often left trying to cope with stress, uncertainty and changing relationships, without the right support around them.

The aim of this course is to provide attendees with underpinning knowledge and understanding of Autistic Spectrum Disorders/Conditions at Tier 2. A session on Learning Disabilities is included in this course.

We’re looking for a Choir Leader with musicality to bring people affected by cancer together. Have you got strong admin, customer service and organisational skills? Have you the experience, passion & enthusiasm to inspire people affected by cancer to sing for enjoyment together?

Boccia – a dementia focused project what started last year in Barry in which a variety of Dementia focused organisations were provided training and equipment to deliver Boccia to the attendees of their Memory Café’s (a Paralympic sport similar to bowls).

This project offers Vale residents aged 60+ the opportunity to access eight free sessions of sport and physical activity in their community.
