A poisons unit is a dedicated specialised area which is staffed to deal with the needs of patients over the age of 16 who have suspected poisoning. Poisoned patients often require psychological and social support as well as physical treatment.

A parliamentary event was held on Monday 4th March to celebrate the first anniversary of the formation of The National Independent Lifeboat Association (NILA), hosted by Founder and Honorary President Anthony Mangnall MP (Totnes & South Devon).
