Vale 50+ Forum ‘Have Your Say’ event at YMCA Barry

The Vale 50+ Forum are hosting their first ‘Have Your Say’ social event of the year on Thursday 21st March from 2-4pm at YMCA Barry, and everyone is invited.

The event is a chance for people aged 50 and over to come together and share their views on living and working in the Vale whilst making new connections, having a tour of the Bro Radio studio, and learning about the various ways to stay up to date with local news, support and information from groups like DEWIS, Age Cymru, the Vale of Glamorgan Council, Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, Care and Repair, Digital Communities Wales, and many more.

Refreshments will be provided free of charge and Forum members will be on hand to listen and chat with people at the event.

• Lots of buses stop near the venue including the 304, 93, 94 and 100 services. The nearest stops are on Newton Street which is a 2 minute walk away and Hannah Street, which is a 4 minute walk.
