The Vale of Glamorgan Council is currently running its annual Santa’s Cause campaign. Christmas should be a time of happiness and celebration. Sadly, for many families in the Vale of Glamorgan it can be one of great stress, anxiety, and sadness.

Our Me Time sessions are a series of online activities to support your wellbeing, run by Carers Wales but open to carers across the UK.   

Organisations can apply for a maximum of £2,500 to be spent by 31st March 2024. The deadline for applications to be submitted is Monday 11th December 2023.

Thousands of secondary school children across Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan are set to receive their nasal spray flu vaccination before they break up for the Christmas holidays.

Today is World Children’s Day 2023 — UNICEF’s annual day of action for children, by children. The theme for World Children's Day this year is "Every Child, Every Right".

Cardiff and Vale UHB will once again be supporting World Antibiotic Awareness Week (WAAW) which will take place between 18th and 24th November 2022. WAAW will run alongside other campaigns such as European Antibiotic Awareness Day (18th November) and Antibiotic Guardian which all aim to increase awareness of antibiotic resistance and to encourage best practice among the general public and health workers.
