Despite most people affected by blood cancer (88% of 2,571 survey respondents) agreeing that they should be told they have a type of blood cancer at diagnosis, Blood Cancer UK’s survey suggests that 2 in 10 people have still never been told they have a blood cancer by a healthcare professional. In fact, 6% of survey respondents found out they had a blood cancer while participating in Blood Cancer UK’s research.

New legislation to restrict the placement and price promotion of products high in fat, sugar and salt is to be introduced in Wales. The new law, which will be introduced in 2024 and will be rolled out across Wales by 2025, builds on the commitment to improve diets and help prevent obesity by restricting the ways foods high in fat, sugar or salt can be promoted.

This is a brand new walking group, free of charge and no need to book. The walk begins on Thursday 20th July, starting and ending at The Three Horseshoes, St. Athan.

Carers UK is delighted to launch our State of Caring 2023 survey, and we would be really grateful for your help in encouraging carers to take part.
