Primary care save 44,000 kg CO2 in first year of new greener scheme
GPs, community optometrists, community pharmacy and primary care dental practices across Wales have saved an estimated 44,088 CO2 this year – the equivalent of four round the world flights, or boiling more than seven million litres of water, by taking part in the Greener Primary Care Wales Framework and Award Scheme from Public Health Wales.
Barry Air Target Club
Barry Air Target Club was started in June 2012 under the name of LS Haven Air Target Club. Since Covid-19 the Club has been busy upgrading, we have 10 firing points at 10 meters, one can be converted into a six yard Bell Target. This requires shooting a .177 pellet through a 9.5 mm hole in a steel plate to ring a bell behind at six yards, it’s a great challenge!
