On Monday 5th July, The Arts for Health and Wellbeing Team at Cardiff & Vale Health Charity are running a Creative Cuppa.

A new £3m fund is being set up to provide respite and short breaks for Wales’ small army of unpaid carers, Deputy Minister for Social Services Julie Morgan announced today.

SVC are running a befriending project in the Vale for young people aged 5-18 who have a learning and/or physical disability. The project is called the Be Friends (Vale) project.

Care leavers who leave care are currently exempt from the shared accommodation rate until they turn 22. From 31 May the additional support was extended to age 25.
