Recycling Furniture from Cardiff Business School
Recently many of Cardiff University’s Business School offices have undergone refurbishment. We have a large selection of office desks, tall filing cabinets, under desk filing cabinets, computer chairs and whiteboards, which are all in excellent condition.

Cardiff & District RAYNET assists Cardiff Council Emergency Management unit
Cardiff & District RAYNET, a group of Radio operators who provide volunteers and specialist communications equipment for incidents, emergencies and community fundraising events across Cardiff and Vale of Glamorgan Council areas, were tasked by Cardiff Council Emergency Management unit to provide operators and equipment to assist with Storm Eunice.
GVS Gardening Project Update
The gardening project volunteers from Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) continues to excel and make a huge difference to CF61 and Illtud House in Llantwit Major. The dedicated volunteers have recently been working on the seating and planters in the shared courtyard at Illtud House, where tenants of the building can enjoy the outside space.

The LA Governor Appointments Panel will consider on the basis of the contribution applicants can bring to a school in terms of their skills and experience. Draft Public Participation Strategy
The Vale of Glamorgan Council has recently published its draft Public Participation Strategy for consultation. The draft Strategy details the actions that will be undertaken by the Council to encourage and enable all stakeholders (those that have an interest or stake in an issue, such as individuals, interest groups, communities) to take part in the decision-making process and to have their say.

Vale of Glamorgan Public Services Draft Well-being Assessment Consultation
As you may be aware the Vale Public Services Board (PSB) has launched its consultation on the draft Well-being Assessment. The Assessment is a statutory requirement of the PSB and considers the environmental, economic, social and cultural well-being of the Vale of Glamorgan. Deadline for feedback on the assessment is 13th February 2022.

Most southerly island in Wales seeks volunteers
The Flat Holm society is currently seeking volunteers to help with the day – to – day running of the charity. Flat Holm is a Welsh island lying in the Bristol Channel approximately 6 km (4 mi) from Lavernock Point in the Vale of Glamorgan and it includes the most southerly point of Wales.
