A life-changing event that’s happening in Barry

Becoming a volunteer is without doubt a truly rewarding experience.  Whilst volunteering can improve your health and well-being, the positive impact on the people, organisations and communities that you support is worth its weight in gold. Rest assured you will make a huge difference.

Do you have spare time to help your community? If so, the Big Volunteering Fayre is the perfect opportunity to be matched with a passionate organisation that benefits your community.

Over 40 local community organisations and charities will be teaming up with Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) to offer volunteering opportunities on Wednesday 24th January from 10am – 2pm at the Memo Arts Centre in Barry.

Community organisations and charities will be available at the free volunteering event for an informal chat about their exciting opportunities where you can make a valued and priceless difference to your local community. The opportunities are hugely varied and you can give as much or as little time each week that you can spare.

Come along to the Big Volunteering Fayre and expect a warm welcome!
