In November 2021 Welsh Government unveiled a Young Person’s Guarantee – a commitment that everyone under the age of 25 would have the offer of support to gain a place in education or training, find a job or become self-employed.

Early education, screening by frontline services and continued support through post-recovery are among the actions needed if Wales wants to reduce the devastating harms caused by gambling, says a new report from Public Health Wales.

The Welsh Government has today set out its plans to address the challenges of staffing the Welsh NHS.

Shaping Our Future Wellbeing, our existing ten-year strategy, was launched back in 2015, following its development with colleagues, stakeholders and the public. In January and February 2023, we are engaging with colleagues across the organisation, as well as some of our key stakeholders, to begin the development of our refreshed strategy. We will be hosting many workshops and events to gather as much feedback as possible.

Jane Hutt, MS for Vale of Glamorgan, will take part in a virtual funding workshop, with People’s Postcode Lottery, for local charities, volunteer organisations, and community groups in the area. The session will give good causes in Ms Hutt’s constituency advice on how they can apply for funds to make a difference in their community. 

We are seeking new tour guides to join our dedicated volunteer team. This is open to anyone over the age of 18 and we are particularly interested in hearing from those aged 18-26 to help us diversify our team and encourage younger visitors to Flat Holm.
