Every local authority in Wales now has an Older People’s Champion to help deliver the Welsh Government’s ambition to create an Age Friendly Wales, the Deputy Minister for Social Services Julie Morgan has announced.

Social Care Wales have been working to develop a delivery plan to support the next phase of implementation of the Workforce Strategy for Health and Social Care, from 2023 to 2026. 

Directors of Social Services across Wales and the Welsh Government are holding a short online survey aimed at unpaid carers to help hear the extent to which carers’ needs are being met and what could be done to further improve the support available.
