Following advice from the UK Health Security Agency and in the light of the rapid increase in Omicron cases, the UK Chief Medical Officers and NHS England National Medical Director have recommended to Ministers that the UK COVID Alert Level should increase from Level 3 to Level 4.

The Council is consulting on its draft Annual Delivery Plan for 2022-23. The draft Annual Delivery Plan sets out the actions we will undertake in 2022-23 as part of the delivery of the Council’s Corporate Plan for 2020 – 25.  The Corporate Plan sets our priorities for a five year period whilst the draft Annual Delivery Plan details what we will take forward in 2022-23.

We need to fill several different roles to help us get the COVID vaccine to communities across Cardiff and the Vale as quickly as possible. You will be joining a great team, at a critical time in the programme as the vaccine effort continues.

The First Minister is urging everyone to have their COVID-19 booster vaccine as he warned Wales is facing a new wave of infections caused by the Omicron variant.
