The 1910 Trust offers grants of up to £30,000
The Cardiff based 1910 Trust, supports wide-ranging voluntary organisations and groups, whose aims and objectives match its criteria. Applications are reviewed by Trustees in an inclusive, ethical and transparent manner and awarded on a majority decision. There are 2 grants available:
Tier 1 grant of up to £5,000
Tier 2 grant of up to £30,000 for up to 3 years
Eligibility - all grant applications will need to be able to evidence how their organisation of funding meets one of these 5 outcomes:
Improving the quality of life for young people, groups or communities.
Promoting inclusivity in communities.
Ensuring vulnerable young people and adults are supported or helped gain access to support.
Promoting the mental, physical and emotional well-being of vulnerable individuals or groups.
Providing safe supporting accommodation for those who are homeless.
Tier 1 & 2 eligibility checklist
Your project will be delivered within the geographic area of Wales
You can detail your evidence of need for the project
Your project delivers on one or more of our outcomes
Your project costs are eligible
You can provide details of two appropriate contacts
You can provide a set of accounts and recent bank statements
You agree to provide quarterly updates on progress and outcomes
You have not received funding from The 1910 Trust in the last 2 years
You agree to provided an audit report on your accounts
You agree to provide a copy of your governing document (if applicable)
You agree to provide a copy of your safeguarding policy (if applicable)
You agree to provide any job descriptions for roles to be recruited as a result of funding (if applicable)

The deadline for Tier 1 funding of up to £5,000 is open ended
The deadline for Tier 2 funding of up to £30,000 is 30th September 2025
