Perthyn Grant Funding Scheme is now open!
Perthyn provides local early-stage support to communities with high levels of second home ownership who are interested in developing social enterprise ideas to support and protect the Welsh language.

Who can apply? Newly established community groups and community groups registered for up to 12 months on the date of application.
Maximum value:
Up to £10,000
Your project idea:
Are you a Welsh language community group or looking to form a group and would benefit from guidance and support with community development?
Are you an established community project with a new idea to develop?
Are you interested in creating a social enterprise/co-operative/community-led housing or a Community Land Trust?
Is there an asset at risk of being lost in your community (pub, shop, church/chapel, library) that you want to bring back into community ownership and use through developing your idea?
If so, the Perthyn team can support you with your idea and help get you started.
Deadline
When the fund is fully allocated or 30 November 2026, whichever comes first.
What can the funding support? Funding can support revenue costs only or a combination of revenue and capital costs.
What is the funding for? To accelerate progress in developing community-led Welsh-language social enterprises and housing initiatives.
Where is it available? Open across Wales (Pan-Wales).
