Help Wales 5s Wheelchair Rugby Change Lives: Fundraising and Equipment Appeal

Wales 5s Wheelchair Rugby are fundraising to enable the squad to continue the great work they have been doing here in Wales and overseas, helping countries and clubs set up and empowering disabled people to have a go. During the last year they have been delivering sessions to students in Bali, getting the Welsh expat community in Hong Kong to start up a club. Next they are off to Uganda who are trying to set up 4 clubs to help the disabled community in the country.

‍Our captain Lee “Taff” Thomas who is an amputee and a veteran, will be walking the 183 miles from Barry to Tenby along the beautiful Welsh coastal path to raise much needed funds. Check out our page Taff Thomas Trek / Calendar | Wales 5s wheelchair Rugby Union for a breakdown of his planned journey and a link to our go fund me page.‍ ‍

We also need equipment donations for our trip to Uganda, please check out Uganda Appeal / Links | Wales 5s wheelchair Rugby Union to see if you can help us.
