What’s involved?

Working closely with your Community Engagement officer
Identify suitable locations/organisations/outlets for placement of Tenovus Cancer Care promotional materials
Host an information stand in various local venues and provide a warm welcome to people affected by cancer
Raise awareness of Tenovus Cancer Care services, taking referrals, or passing on messages, where appropriate
Provide feedback to Tenovus Cancer Care to better understand the needs and issues in the local community
If you are comfortable doing so - deliver short talks/presentations to small groups about our services

Who would it suit?

• Someone with compassion, empathy and good listening skills with a positive and friendly outlook.
• A confident communicator
• An awareness of the need for confidentiality and discretion
• Commitment to our cause and helping those affected by cancer.
• Welsh (desirable)
• DBS Check (required)
• Driving Licence or willingness to travel by public transport to venues
