Forte Charitable Foundation Grants towards running costs

This fund [previously called the Trust-house Charitable Foundation] provides both small and major grant programmes for organisations providing support for families with areas of social deprivation.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be a charitable organisation (including social enterprises, not-for-profit registered companies and voluntary organisations) based and operating within England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland

  • Have a demonstrable track record of success working to address local issues in communities of extreme urban deprivation and deprived rural district 

  • Be applying for revenue costs only, including core costs, salaries, running and project costs. No capital costs will be covered.

Small Grant - You can apply for single year grants between £2,000 and £10,000 for core costs, salaries, running and project costs.

  • Your project must have a focus on community support

  • Your annual income does not exceed £250,000

  • You can secure 50% of the total project costs

  • You can supply your most recent annual accounts

  • You can start spending our grant within 1-2 months of receipt

Major Grant - you can apply for:

  1. Single year grants between £10,000 and £50,000 for core costs, salaries, running and project costs or

  2. Multi-year grants for a maximum of 3 years, not to exceed £100,000 in total over this period, for core costs, salaries, running or project costs.

No more than £50k can be applied for in any given year.
