Family and Friends at Recovery Cymru

Recovery Cymru, based in 218 Cowbridge road, Canton in Cardiff supports anyone in recovery from alcohol or drug use. We provide a non- judgemental, confidential and compassionate environment, a place where we are allowed to be ourselves.

We are peer led, everyone having experience of drug/alcohol use difficulties. We also recognise that those closest to the drug/alcohol user are also severally affected. We offer support to anyone concerned and affected by someone else's alcohol or drug use.

We have a weekly Friends and Family group meeting every Sunday 6pm-7.30pm. We have a monthly meeting we call the insight session held on the last Wednesday of the month, where we discuss a particular topic; self-compassion, sleep, trauma are some of the topics we have and will be discussing.

We have started meetings at Castlelands community Centre, Barry on Thursday, Family and Friends 11.30pm-13pm and a peer support group 13.15-14.45pm. No need to book- just come along. All welcome!
