Could you be a BulliesOut Youth Anti-Bullying Ambassador?

This organisation is always on the lookout for inspiring young people to join our mission! You might be exactly what they are looking for if you:

• Are aged between 10  and 21 years old

• Have a good level of spoken and written English

• Are friendly and care about others

• Are able to demonstrate a history of good moral and ethical character

• Are passionate about reducing the effects of bullying behaviour

• Are able to commit to a volunteer role for at least six months

They are a busy bunch at BulliesOut, and as an ambassador they will expect you to keep up to date with what they are up to and, importantly, to keep them updated with what you’ve been doing for the charity! If you’re old enough to use social media, they would love for you to share your hard work and heartfelt experiences with the world using their hashtags, #BulliesOut, #MakeADifference and #StandUpSpeakOut

The programme is held each month in Cardiff.   Ambassadors come together each month and receive training and resources to go into their local communities to raise awareness about the effects of bullying.  You can also be involved in local events and activities. 
Parents are not required as the programme is fully for the Youth Ambassadors – parents just drop off at 10:30am and pick up afterwards about 2:30/3:00pm.

Time commitment:  Days and hours are negotiable with the organisation.
Expenses reimbursed: Out of pocket expenses are reimbursed.
Training provided: Full training is provided.
Selection procedure: Informal discussion, application form completion and 2 references.
