5.30pm Sunday 1st February at the Friendship Tree, Knap Lake and Gardens, Barry.

Now in its 16th year this event marks the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, the first stirring of Spring. As the day light noticeably increases it is a symbol of hope and uplift for the coming year. 

We will be joined by Laura Bradshaw and her lovely Porthkerry choir who will lead us in song as we take a gentle contemplative lantern walk alongside the lake and unveil the new willow archway created by ' Rob the willow man '. There will also be a chance to add and share messages on and around The Tree Of Peace and Friendship.
