Wales and Africa grants now open

The first round of the Wales and Africa 2025-28 scheme is now open to applicants.

Working with Sub Saharan African partners, organisations can apply for grants between £5,000-£25,000 to make a tangible contribution to one of the four following themes:

  • Health

  • Lifelong Learning

  • Climate Change and Environment

  • Sustainable Livelihoods

In order to apply to the Wales and Africa Grant, you will need to register with WCVA’s Multipurpose Application Portal (MAP). Please ensure that you have read the guidance document on the WCVA website before beginning your request for funding.
