Volunteers are the lifeblood of voluntary organisations and community groups

Volunteers can also assist clients with shopping and transportation.  The kindness of volunteers carrying out these missions is a lifeline for clients and allows them to maintain a level of independence in their home. It is so important to individuals who rarely see a friendly face, as volunteers bring the outside world and allows them to talk to someone.”
