Versatile Spaces for Hire at CF61

At CF61, we have two versatile and welcoming spaces available for hire: the spacious Colhuw Main Hall and the multi-purpose Hoddnant Room:

Colhuw Main Hall

A large, bright function room with a high vaulted ceiling and neutral décor, Colhuw is ideal for both regular bookings and one-off events. With its neo-blackout facility and three sets of opening windows, it offers excellent lighting and ventilation.

• Direct access to the outside

• Fully accessible, with nearby accessible toilets

• Suitable for exercise and martial arts classes, dance and gymnastic sessions, pre-school activities, history lectures, and more

Current uses include: Llantwit Major Arts and Crafts Group, St Donats Chorale Society, Chatty Caffi, AGMs, conferences, Christmas and craft fairs, table-top sales, and children's birthday parties.

Hoddnant Room

This bright, airy space features windows on three sides, a high ceiling, and modern, easy-to-clean flooring. It now includes advanced AV capabilities, with a 75” TV, integrated camera and speakers—perfect for presentations, video conferencing, and live streaming.

• Blackout blinds and neutral modern décor

• Flip chart easel and whiteboard available

• Fully accessible with nearby accessible toilets

Ideal For: Adult education classes, music practice, pilates and wellbeing sessions, studio live-streaming, workshops, exhibitions, and community meetings.

Regular Events Include: Craft workshops, pottery classes, BSL (British Sign Language) lessons, small AGMs, film screenings, and the monthly community drop-in hub (third Thursday of each month).
