The AGM provides an opportunity to reflect on the Forum's achievements over the past year, influence future priorities and meet with fellow members and partners who support older people across the Vale of Glamorgan.

The event will include:

  • A review of the Forum's work and achievements during the last year.

  • Presentation of the annual financial report.

  • Ratification of Executive Group appointments, including the Chair and Vice Chair.

  • Two speakers: Rhian Bowen-Davies, Older People's Commissioner for Wales and Christine Boston Chief Executive Officer, Glamorgan Voluntary Services.

  • An opportunity for attendees to share their views on priorities for the coming year.

Following the AGM, guests will be able to enjoy complimentary refreshments and visit information and advice stalls from organisations supporting older people to live and age well in the Vale of Glamorgan.

Booking is not essential, but attendees are encouraged to let the team know they plan to attend. For further information or to confirm attendance, contact OPF@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk or call 01446 709391.
