The Birth Partner Project believes that no-one should have to give birth alone
The Birth Partner Project believes that no-one should have to give birth alone. We support asylum seeking people in Cardiff, by linking them up with a team of Birth Partner Volunteers, so they are not alone in pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.
There are a range of volunteering opportunities available that you can help with such as:
Social Media Volunteer at The Birth Partner Project: If you are familiar with Canva, and enjoy creating content, or could advise us on how we run our page and posts - we would love for you to join our team.
The role would be remote and flexible: Volunteer whenever you want, however regularly you want, and wherever you want. We do not have an office, but we could meet in person in Cafes if helpful. We use Canva for content creation currently - we can provide you access to the TBPP family to best allow you to create content that is within our brand guidelines.
Finance Trustee at The Birth Partner Project: The Birth Partner Project believes that no-one should have to give birth alone. We support asylum seeking people in Cardiff, by linking them up with a team of Birth Partner Volunteers, so they are not alone in pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum.
We currently have an opportunity for someone with expertise or abilities in Finance to join our Board of Trustees.
We currently have a fantastic team of 6 Trustees, and we have a gap to have a Trustee with experience and abilities in Finance to join the team. You do not need to be a qualified accountant for this role, only someone with an interest and ability to review our annual accounts every autumn and bring a financial perspective to our Board discussions.
The main commitment is to attend a 2 hour board meeting every 2 months, and this role would be involved in reviewing the accounts by our Finance Manager every autumn. You don't have to live in or near Cardiff, as we support distance & remote engagement on the Board as well.
Fundraising Volunteer at The Birth Partner Project: If you enjoy raising money, through cake sales, sales on Vinted, fundraising events, contacting corporate companies, or have ideas of different ways we would fundraise for our work - we would love for you to join our team.
The role would be remote and flexible: Volunteer whenever you want, how ever regularly you want, and wherever you want. We do not have an office, but we could meet in person in Cafes if helpful. If you wanted to create flyers, adverts, posters or more, we can provide you access to the TBPP Canva family account to best allow you to create content that is within our brand guidelines.
We have an upcoming fundraising campaign in December, where we will be part of the Big Give Christmas campaign - so join us now to get into the role and help us plan and work towards this event.
