Second Spark Digital Community: Putting Digital Skills and Tools in Local Hands

A new home online for Cadog's Corner

Our biggest news is the work we've done with Cadog's Corner, the Barry charity that does so much for the local community. We designed and built a new bilingual (English and Welsh) website for them, with clear donation routes, an easy-to-find location map, and branding that matches their logo.

We also supported the launch of their new mobile app, which went live on Google Play on 24 September 2026. The app lets people read and share reviews of the charity's services, with each review checked before it's published. It's also been submitted to the Apple App Store. We handled the technical set-up behind the scenes, including the charity's developer accounts, privacy policy and safety declarations, so the team at Cadog's Corner could focus on what they do best.

Devices going to people who need them

Alongside this, Second Spark has donated several monitors, tablets and laptops to local residents who would otherwise have gone without, giving people the means to get online, stay in touch and access services.
