S16 Refreshers Fair Update

We have had a relatively low response to attend and set out stalls for the Section 16 Forum on the 16th December. On reflection it wasn’t the best time of year to hold an event of this kind.

We have decided not to go ahead with the Refreshers fair but plan to roll that event over to the forum that is due to take place in March 2026.

 On 16th December, we will now hold a shorter session from 10:00–11:00am, still at the Dunraven Suite, which will:

  • Provide time to catch up and mingle (with mince pies!), and

  • Give us some focused planning time to shape the March 2026 event and support greater engagement

 If you still plan to attend on the 16th December please let Deb Jones know on debjones@valeofglamorgan.gov.uk. For those of you that I don’t see on the 16th, thank you for continuing to work this year with colleagues in Social Services on this key area.
