Regional Advice Network

In 2019, the Welsh Government led on the establishment of six Regional Advice Networks (RANs) to ensure that people throughout Wales have access to high quality social welfare information and advice from a continuity of well-networked services. RANs bring together local information and advice providers, local service planners and commissioners, funders and other stakeholders to facilitate joint working, share good practice, shape regional priorities and maximise Welsh Government investment in the sector.

Each RAN has an independent Chair and steering group and a membership of local and regional stakeholders. Since April 2025, Welsh Government is providing funding through the Single Advice Fund to allow administrative support for the planning of the RANs.

We are seeking your feedback on the Regional Advice Networks to help us understand what is working well and if/where improvements can be made. Your views will help inform future development and priorities. All responses are anonymous and will be treated confidentially.
