New card payment kiosk for baby scan photos installed at the University Hospital of Wales

A new card payment kiosk for scan photos has been installed in the antenatal department at the University Hospital of Wales.

The kiosk will be in operation from Monday, 22nd April and will feature card and cash payment options to make it more convenient to buy baby scan pictures.

Once patients have notified reception that they have arrived for their appointment, they will be able to buy a token from the kiosk located adjacent to the reception desk. The token can then be handed to the clinician performing the scan.

The standard charge for scan photos is £5 for two photos. However, if patients would like to purchase more they can purchase multiple tokens.

Patients attending University Hospital Llandough can purchase a token using five £1 coins. We hope to bring a card payment system to UHL in the future.
