GVS staff and volunteers attend “Big Dig” at CF61

GVS

Some of the GVS staff and our gardening volunteers spent Saturday morning filling our wooden planters with soil and planting lots of lovely flowers and edibles to enhance our community garden at CF61. As well as the planters we have created with the help of Plant Llantwit, some fruit trees to create our mini orchard, some fruit bushes and wild flower areas to attract lots of bees and butterflies. We would love the community of Llantwit Major to be able to use the space and enjoy the area. There is a lot more planned so if you would like to get involved and become one of our gardening volunteers, please email volunteering@gvs.wales
