GVS Launches New Training Programme for Local Third Sector and Partner Organisations

Glamorgan Voluntary Services (GVS) is delighted to announce a new series of training courses designed to empower local third sector and partner organisations. Our programme offers practical skills to help you boost efficiency, enhance impact, and ensure best practices. 

Boost Your Organisation's Impact with AI: This session demystifies AI, showing you how free tools like ChatGPT can be used to improve digital communications and boost team efficiency.  

An Introduction to Creating Designs using Canva: Learn to create professional social media graphics, flyers, and more with this easy-to-use design tool, with templates at your fingertips.  

Recruiting, Selecting and Managing Volunteers: This course will provide you with the essential skills to effectively identify, recruit, and manage volunteers to support your organisation.  

Essential Safeguarding for Community Groups and Volunteers: Gain a fundamental understanding of safeguarding principles, including identifying different types of abuse and knowing how to respond effectively.  

Group B Safeguarding Training: This full-day session builds confidence in recognising and responding to abuse, harm, and neglect, aligning with new national standards.  

Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW): Gain a three-year certified qualification, learning life-saving first aid techniques for the workplace and beyond.
